ADMISSIONS OVERVIEW
We are pleased that you are considering a Montessori education for your child. Our goal is to assist children in developing the skills, knowledge and attitudes to become productive members of their community and respectful of themselves, others and the environment.
We consider applications for the Two-Year-Old Program, Preschool Program, Kindergarten Program, Lower Elementary Program and Upper Elementary Program.
We invite you to learn more about our Montessori programs by contacting admissions@montessorihawaii.org. In-person tours are not being offered and campus visitors are limited for the time being.
Review the MCS Health and Safety Protocol to learn how Montessori Community School is working towards providing a safe and healthy environment for our students, staff and families.
HOW TO APPLY (2023-2024 School Year)
STEP 1: Online Application
Starting September 1, 2022, we will begin accepting online applications for all programs (Two-Year-Old, Preschool & Kindergarten, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary).
A $50.00 application fee is required for all submitted applications.
STEP 2: Supplemental Forms
For Kindergarten and Elementary Applicants ONLY:
-Include copies of your child's previous year's and most recent report cards or progress reports.
-Sign and give your child's current teacher the Confidential Teacher Reference Report form.
STEP 3: Complete the Application Process
-After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
-Request an Admissions School Tour by registering here or contacting the school office at (808)522-0244.
For Kindergarten Applicants ONLY:
-Attend the required Morning Activity Session. Date and Location TBD.

2023-2024 ADMISSIONS CALENDAR
SEPT. 1, 2022
Online applications for the 2023-2024 school year will be accepted as of September 1, 2022.
JAN. 15, 2023
Applications submitted by Jan. 15 will be considered in the first round of admission decisions.
Subsequent applications will be considered as space is available. Contact the Admissions Office to check availability.
FEB. 11, 2023
For Kindergarten Applicants ONLY: Activity Session (TBD)
FEBRUARY 2023
First round of Two-Year-Old admissions decision letters will be distributed.
Subsequent acceptance letters will be distributed as space is available.
MARCH 2023
First round of Preschool & Kindergarten, Elementary admissions decision letters will be distributed.
Subsequent acceptance letters will be distributed as space is available.
