Are there rolling admissions?Yes. If space is available in the Two-Year-Old and Preschool Programs, new children can be enrolled through February of the school year. In general, Kindergarten and Elementary applicants must enroll at the beginning of the school year. Enrollment is for the academic calendar year, not month-to-month.
-
How long is the wait list for next year?To be fair to all families, we accept applications only one year at a time and do not carry over the wait pool from year to year. Starting on September 1, parents can submit an online application for the following school year. Applications received by January 15 will be considered in the first round of admissions decisions. Subsequent applications may be placed in the wait pool and considered as space is available.
-
Is financial assistance available?Yes. Financial assistance through the school is available to families with demonstrated need. Families must also explore community resources. Admissions decisions are made on a “needs-blind basis.” Visit our financial aid page for further information. Questions about financial assistance should be directed to the Business Office - finance@montessorihawaii.org.

Are applications at all levels accepted?Yes. New children at every program level from ages 2-12 years are considered. For Kindergarten and the Elementary Program, Montessori experience is preferred, but not required.
