Preschool

The Foundation for
Lifelong Learning

The Preschool Program supports children’s developing interests while encouraging independence and refining their sense of order, coordination, and concentration. This program focuses on five key areas and establishes the foundation for lifelong learning. Important milestones include:

Development Focus

Building independence, cultivating social skills, cognitive development, and language refinement.

Activities

Children have the freedom to choose jobs that promote hands-on learning. A child who acquires the basic skills of reading and arithmetic naturally and based on their interests gains the advantage of beginning education without drudgery, boredom, or discouragement. By pursuing their interests in the classroom, children develop an early enthusiasm for learning, which is key to future education. While independence is the main focus, children also learn to be part of a community through daily interactions, understanding what it takes to be part of a group.

A child's success in school depends on several factors, including the child themselves. The relationship between the parent, school, and child is important. Parents are the child’s primary role models; our faculty and staff provide support to the entire family.

Practical life skills, introduction to academic concepts (math, language, geography, science), sensory play, art, music, and outdoor exploration.
